my favourite time

a long silence

After about a long year of silence, I thought I owe it to my beloved Zachheaus and Kiki that I should be writing again.
If there is anything I have learned through this period of silence it is that how "unfaithful" I can be. It is easy to be absorbed by the schemes of things that I forget about my commitment of keeping a journal. Here you go, Zach is healthy and happy and I love him all the more.

zachheaus turned three

Time passed fast in the last few years. Zach and I had been together for more than 2 years and he turned three on the 6th of June. I am really glad that he has been such a joy and companion and I thank God for him and the time I can spend with him.

And finally he started eating his birthday cake.

He is getting closer to the cake.

I bought a small piece of cake for Zach and lighted a candle for him .

We have been so busy for the past few months and had completely not able to communicate with anyone. So now, with all the festivities over, it is time to post some new photos.

Kiki is big and Zachheaus remains the same except putting on some weight, they played but constantly I have to be around, cos their sizes differ so much!

These are the photos I took for Zach and Kiki just last week. I was en route to my church camp and able to drop by home in Kuantan to reunite with Kiki whom I have not seen for 3 months.

Zach after suffering from skin allergy for about two weeks are finally a little better, eating more and easier to get to sleep. I should have bring to the Vet earlier so that he need not suffer for so long.

Kki is so big and strong but still maintain that lovely look on her face. I really really adore her.

Kiki is tall, when she stands, she is almost reaching my sister chest height. She can be naughty and demanding but on the whole I was told she is a happy girl.

Kiki deep in thought, she listens well to command like sit, hand hand, and some simple words. My family insist that she is many trilingual.

Zach and his pillow

Zach tried to sleep on top of the pillow, and he is really curling himself to fit on top of it!

Zach was playing very "rough" with his pillow, he seems to like this "fighting " session everyday. and I never quite understand why he doesn't seem to mind doing the same thing again and again.

I have no heart to see him struggling with the small pillow, got to the store room and able to find a bigger pillow for him, it is still a little to small but I think he is happy.

Kiki is standing quite a lot, and she likes to bit the cage which is too small for her now.

That adorable look which is Kiki favourable gaze when she wants something. How could you resist complying with her request?

Kiki and her "foxy" glance. At slightly more than three months Kiki is begining to look like a little lady, she is so well loved that she is slightly pampered by everyone at home.

Zacchaeus first night dining out

Last night being Sunday and since my sister and husband was in KL I decided to looked for a pet friendly place for dinner. I found this place in Sri Hartamas call Bull Dog and when I called was informed that I could bring my best friend Zacchaeus.

Zacchaeus was very well behave as evident from the photos, he was a little restless at but when the food came and I started giving him some vegetable and pita bread he ate heartily and was relaxed. We were enjoying so much of the french fries that I could not help but gave very little bit to him, he loved it but good for not demanding more.

All in all a very wonderful night out. By the time we were home, he was exhausted and contented.

Zacchaeus is back to normal

After weeks if feeling miserable, Zacchaeus is finally back to himself. He eating more, and seems to be as active as before. I was informed that his temperement might change to be a little more subdued after his minor operation ( he was neutered about 3 weeks ago ). But apparently that did not change him.

Kiki is feeling real at home now.

These are the latest photos taken by Shi Hao ( my nephew ) of Kiki, she is so so adorable and spoilt. I just gave them ( my family members ) a warning, don't spoil her, she is suppose to be a guard dog.

We are really proud of her, very intelligent and so quick to learn and I think she understands most of the words we spoke to her.......

Kiki is getting bigger and Zacchaeus is not feeling well

I just spoke to my nephew who is being nominated to be the photographer to keep the pictures of Kiki coming to me in Kuala Lumpur. He told me that Kiki is getting bigger and heavier just after a week at home and she is learning to go to the same spot when nature calls for her to ease herself daily. She is also running very fast and he finds it difficult to catch up with her. Just imagine what she will be like in one month time, and she is just approaching 3 months in 10 days .
Zacchaeus meantime is not too well with his nail problem, when he got excited and jumped, the bruised spot will bleed, i am really not happy will have to bring him to see Dr Nathan again soon if he does not get better.
Will keep the photos coming when I have them.

What Kiki will look like in one month

We, all of us in the family will wish dearly that Kiki will remain the same and don't grow up, she is so cute and so friendly and welcomes everyone with open heart. But....... she is suppose to be the guard dog, and she will need to grow up and guard my 81 year old father. I hope our love for her will grow as she grows. I am certain as in my family we had countless dogs and if I am to count, I think none of us will be able to be accurate how many we had and loved so far.

I brough KIKI home to Kuantan and she is a real good girl, no problem travelling slept through the 3 hrs !
